REPORTS OF SHOPLIFTERS LED TO FOOT PURSUITS, TWO ARRESTS

Upon arrival officers made contact with two suspects inside the stores garden center and both suspects fled on foot in different directions.

Devries Bruce WayneOn Monday, Feb. 27, detectives with the Benton Police Department received information from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division of a possible child abuse case. A 14-year-old female reported sexual allegations with 57-year-old Bruce Wayne DeVries of Benton.

THREE SUSPECTS FOUND WITH 43 SUSPECTED CLONED CREDIT CARDS

The suspects reportedly attempted to fraudulently load gift cards at a Walmart store in Malvern and after they left, the Malvern employees contacted employees at the Benton Walmart about the suspects.
