Detectives with the Benton Police Department have been working diligently on three business burglaries that have taken place recently. Recently, evidence and information they developed led to an arrest of a suspect, identified as Dillian Billingsley (25 YOA), in relation to the cases.

On 3/28/14, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to A Kid’s Place (N. Main St.) on report of a business burglary.

On 3/25/14, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to an address on W. Sevier Street on a welfare concern call. Upon their arrival, officers discovered information that led them to believe a crime had possibly occurred.

On 3/17/14, at approximately 8:45 PM, patrol officers with the Benton Police Department responded to an address on Valhalla Drive on report of a disturbance. Upon their arrival it was determined that two subjects had been involved in a physical altercation.

On Monday, March 10th, the Benton City Council officially retired Benton Police Department’s K-9, Lucky due to an illness he is suffering from.
