JUVENILE ARRESTED FOR RECENT VEHICLE THEFT AND BREAK-INS

Recently, detectives with the Benton Police Department have been conducting investigations into some recent thefts and vehicle break-ins in a few residential neighborhoods.
On 9/10, officers with the Bryant Police Department stopped a vehicle after a short pursuit that turned out to be stolen from a home in Longhills Village. The suspect, a 16 year old juvenile, was taken into custody at the time without incident.
On 9/16/15, at approximately 10:23 PM, an officer with the Benton Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving without headlights near the intersection of South St. and Jefferson Street. 
On 9/14/15, at approximately 5:11 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to request for a civil standby while two parties exchanged belongings. Upon their arrival, they made contact with both parties involved in the incident.
